EvilLyrics- Automatically uploads lyrics onto the song description

Another awesome music tool that you can use if you are a fanatic like I am is EvilLyrics. You set it up for iTunes, then turn iTunes on and play a song, THEN opening EL. EL then searches the internet for the lyrics for the song, and uploads them to the songs description, without you having to lift a finger. It is really quite handy to have lyrics on your iPod, for those songs you have no idea what the singer says on a certain line. EL is also another very small program you need to download. But I swear by both EvilLyrics and Last.fm (check last post) :)

Oh my gosh. I just had an idea. I might do a song of the day... Not including the lyrics to all of them, but maybe a youtube link... Ahh! Yes. Okay, first song of the day: Umm... Wires by Athlete. : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uriGngTXyrE

Last.fm Review- How to find music that you love using music you already have

This is a music tool that everyone should have if they truly love music, and like seeking out branches of music they have never heard of but finding music they love. www.last.fm is the link for it, and it is a fabulous website with many different tools to help you find music. Sign up for it and you can:

1) Download the Scrobbler (which is only 5mb, and I guarantee no viruses) which can access your music player (like iTunes) and it transfers the names of the bands and songs that you always listen to. From that, it can recommend music to you based on your taste, and you can browse people who listen to almost identical music to you to find more

2) You can subscribe to the Recommended Radio, which turns on a radio and plays songs based on the music from your profile (you should download the Scrobbler for it) but you do have to pay a small fee. I chose not to subscribe, just because I am cheap ;)

3) You can browse without signing up or downloading anything at all. You just type in your favourite artist into the search bar, scroll down their profile while looking at the left toolbar, and go to Similar Artists, which lists similar bands based on how similar

Check it out :) I have found such amazing bands through it :) Tell me what you think of it!

It seems I missed posting

Phew, finding a new template was exhausting. The pictures arent completely out of whack anymore though, and I kind of like the setup :)
So what I also wrote about in my last post before my laptop went crazy was how I have been researching (like, lose sleep over and fail math tests kind of researching because of the amount of time put into it) about how to start a website, with the domains and the hosting and man... Just figured it out :) Once I get them started, I'll probably post links to here. Whereas this blog is for music and for quotes and neat little pictures, I also want a travel blog (which I also spent a ridiculous amount of time researching) and maybe even a blog about how to be eco friendly (I am going to do the "One Year No Trash" challenge next year where you recycle everything, dont purchase items that cant be recycled, compost, all that fun stuff :) I am excited!

Okay, PostSecret time:

People actually visit this blog? What?

Okay, first of all, I hate my laptop. With an intensity that could match the sun. I just had a lovely entry written out and then it spazzed and refreshed the page :( Also with my laptop, the h key doesnt work (its on copy and paste) the g key doesnt work (I have to tap furiously at it with the touchpad because my left click mouse button also does not work, my apostrophe doesnt work (oh you poor contractions :( ) the esc key doesnt work, and neither does the left ctrl, and the 5 and 6 do not work. While interacting on facebook or msn, I generally just replace the g with a 9 :) It is pretty effective!
Secondly, holy crapola, I didnt know people actually visited this blog, but I just checked the stats and would you look at that! Which means I will start to be a regular again :)
So! Song for now, because I need sleep. :)
Andrew Belle is a new artist in my music collection. My friend downloaded his song "In My Veins" (From Greys Anatomy) and I in turn downloaded more of him. I personally like "I'll Be Your Breeze" best :) Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nQ8puSZJ4M

And lyrics. Enjoy :)
he walks in the bedroom and picks up the phone
he's singing to the beat of the dialtone
if he could, he would shrink down
to fit through these holes
in rubber and plastic, that'd be fantastic
he'd crawl through these phonelines
to castles or farms
or just across the stateline
and into your arms
we'd learn to distinguish
truth from false alarms
and fade into summer
like we were the months of the year

and we'll fall asleep
every night so easily
like some kind of brand new disease
hey, we got it but c'est la vie
don't you wonder how villains sleep
every night so easily
if they can do it, baby, so can we
just remember i'll be your breeze

oh well i feel like myself
i finally feel like myself
honey don't you feel like yourself
feel like yourself
cause i learned we all play
our part in this thing
we've all got a song
we were put here to sing
it's less of a circle and more of a ring
that keeps up together
like we were prize fighters

and we'll fall asleep
every night so easily
like some kind of brand new disease
hey, we got it but c'est la vie
don't you wonder how villains sleep
every night so easily
if they can do it, baby, so can we
just remember i'll be your breeze

oh, i'll be like that
heart that you cut out
and pinned on your sleeve
i thought i told you
that i needed you
just to keep...

(i'll be)
(i'll be your breeze)
fall asleep
every night so easily
like some kind of brand new disease
hey, we got it but c'est la vie
don't you wonder how villains sleep
every night so easily
if they can do it, baby, so can we
just remember i'll be your breeze
oh, i'll be your breeze, easily.
oh, i'll be your breeze, easily.
oh, i'll be your breeze.
