My friend and I traded iPods today. He has a couple of good artists. I still like my music WAY better though. He wants me to upload my music to his iPod, so he can go through the seventeen hundred or so, looking at the ones he likes. One song by a band I LOVE though is Punk Rock Princess. Ship in a Bottle

I had this song stuck in my head ALL day, and it was bothering me so much, because I didn't recognize who the artist, or the song name, was. It's called Ship in a Bottle by Bright Eyes. I love the first bit of the song, which was what was stuck in my head. There are some *weird* parts in it though, including the sound of a baby crying...

Okay, so on Friday, I held this Mission Impossible thing. It was SUCH a blast, at least for me, being a little bit tipsy and trying to wander through the woods ;P. It didn't last long though, and then we just hung out. And last night, I snuck out of my house to go watch movies at my friend's, him coming to pick me up on his quad. The timing was SO sketch. As I was walking down the road to go meet him, this car started coming up the road, and since my parents weren't home, I hopped in the ditch. I was hidden for when they went by, and I was so relieved that I had hopped behind a tree. My friend came just 2 minutes later. Sketch.

Downloading Spree :)

I'm on a downloading spree right now. I just talked to someone today who likes Death Cab for Cutie and Franz Ferdinand! I could tell he has an awesome taste in music, so I added him on Facebook. Since he added me, I have been going through his list of favourite music, and listening to it on youtube. I'm also downloading Blessthefall and System of a Down (Chop Suey is my favourite so far.) I'm actually learning how to understand screamo! It's like learning an entirely different language, and it is so exciting that I figured out a couple of words today. Other bands I'm downloading: My Favourite Highway, Silverstein, the Rocket Summer, the Almost, Funeral for a Friend, Default, Augustana, All That Remains, Aiden, and A Rocket to the Moon. One song that I want to share again today though is a new one, Bigger Than Love, by My Favourite Highway.Well, a new one to me. The lyrics are outstanding!

This template is not going to work for me if it makes the pictures so big... *Sigh* But I like this template. It's pretty. I may get sick of it after a while, but I adore it right now. Some starter quotes

I am quite satisfied with my new template for this blog. After a couple of hours of searching, I found one that I both liked and that worked. But, I thought that I had better post a couple of quotes to start off this blog.

Don't spend your life skipping through to try and find that certain song, just listen to the music along the way and hope you come across it. --- This is actually one of mine. I was just sitting on the bus one day, and I was flipping through my music and not really enjoying all of it. I was trying to find a certain song that I had no idea what the name was or the band, and I all of a sudden thought about how pointless it was to just waste all of that time trying to find something in particular. Then I thought about how that's kind of similar to life, how you shouldn't go through your life looking for love or a certain someone. You should just life your life and hope you come across it :)

The origin of the name :)

This is kind of exciting. I've tried to keep blogs before, but they've always been about my life, which is, quite frankly, really boring. I just couldn't keep on top of them. With this though, I'm planning on putting in something I love dearly: Quotes. I have a huge collection of them in a little book that I am planning on handing down to my grandchildren. I think I am also going to add in the occasional, or frequent, song because of it's lyrics. I'm going to add a song to this first post, because it is the origin of the name to this blog. It's my favourite song, called Strange & Beautiful by Aqualung. It's quite amazing, about unrequited love and wishing that the person knew and wanting to put a spell on them to make them feel the same way. It's really sweet :)
